After producing and shooting Documentaries for Nick Broomfield and various commercial projects in Los Angeles, Tristan moved into directing when a tragic family death from covid inspired him to tell the real story behind the news.

Tristan now runs Tea Cup Pictures that make films about authentic stories inspired by real people and real life experiences, told with nuance, empathy, care, and courage. Operating in the UK and USA or wherever the story leads.
